Installation/Site Specific-Spell Response #8 pg.154-179

For this reading response for page 154-179 in David Abram's The Spell of the Sensuous on page 171, "Or as Bruce Chatwin writes, "an unsung land is a dead land.""
I decided to response by using the non-literal (or literal?) version of what a "sung land" would be like. While in Spain, the land was filled with music, whether it be literal music or sounds from around the area.
In the cathedral, there were organs being played and echoing throughout the building; the fountain outside a mosque provided peaceful rhythms. Spain has proven to be the most lively country I've visited, and not just because of its beauty, the mood and music are so uplifting.
